What do you get when you mix Paris, Hermès, and the best show jumpers in the world? The equestrian equivalent of a fashion show. We loved these practical but cool outfits worn at the Saut Hermès CSI5* competition, held at the Grand Palais.
Of course, the riders weren’t there to show off their chic equestrian wardrobes. Simon Delestre became the first French rider to ever win the Hermès Grand Prix at the Grand Palais in the 9 years of its existence. Belgium also marked its first win of #SautHermès2018 courtesy of Wilm Vermeir, and Bertram Allen teamed up with last years’s Grand Prix Saut Hermès winner, Edwina Tops-Alexander, to take the team competition. Romain Duget of Switzerland, Patrice Delaveau of France, Philippe Rozier of France, and Germany’s Felix Hassman were also in the headlines.
